I am very upset with SteveMadden.com. On my most recent credit card bill, there was a $300 charge to the merchant stevemadden.com. I called and explained that I naver made any such charge and did not authorize such a charge. I asked what the merchandise was and where it was shipped and they refused to give me that information. I think if the money has been taken out of my account I deserve to know the who, what and where of the order. I have asked my bank to process a fraud claim but I asm so upset with stevemadden.com that I WILL NEVER SHIP THERE in the future and I will put up and advisory to my friends on my facebook wall.

I pasted below the email I received from Steve Madden, my response, and their response (basically the same as their original email). They charged me in December for my order (which came late and I wasn't able to cancel and had to go pick up two different orders 20min away to have it on time-although it stated guaranteed to be here by christmas online when the order was made. They state I need to give them my CC info because my order which was shipped and delivered was not paid for? I definitely paid for the shoes I purchased.


I want everyone to see how horrible this experience is for many of us that have lost money/time to this cheap company.

Thank you for your email. I am sure you have accessed some history of the purchase and delivery process of my order, and can see how this has become an unpleasant experience for me with SteveMadden.com.

I have already, since placing my original order, made it very clear of my unfortunate first experience with using SteveMadden.com both with your representatives/supervisors as with my peers. I assure you that since my experience with using SteveMadden.com I have no desire to return my business in the future, as I have seen how disorganized the business is conducted. I am extremely disappointed in your entire process- from start to finish. I am shocked at the inability of your Financial Department to conduct business in a timely manner so this could have been resolved before shipments were made.

I am requesting that the entire history of my order be sent to me. By entire I mean for every log starting from the initial order I had placed online, up through this email I am sending you (as well as my phone call to a representative this afternoon).

Please also send me a detailed summary of how this occurred that I am to be contacted over 5 and a half months after this order was placed and shipped asking for payment. Please keep in mind that I was also in contact with a supervisor through the entire order process because of shipping and other customer service issues that also arose with this order. If there was any issue with my credit card, I should have been notified at that time. The order should never have been confirmed or shipped if it was not fully paid, and since it had successfully shipped, I should have been notified much sooner than five and a half months later.

Once I have received all of the information I need, I will be conducting my own personal investigation of if/how this occurred with my credit card company.

I would like to purchase 3 pairs of Steve Madden Fiery beaded Clogs which were offered a few years ago. I would like 2 pair in size 8, one in champagne and the other in black.
